Phil Yates, consistently horrendous. The sort of commentator who feels the need to fill any silence, generally with useless drivel.

@@_mickmccarthy Yes my thoughts exactly. He also often talks about anything else other than whats going on in the match and the shots. I suppose in a way thats why it works with Joe Johnson - who talks about nothing else other than the shots being played. But id much rather have someone like Dominic Dale commentating. Far more interesting.

​@TearTheRoof0ff Insufferable is right. It's truly extraordinary that though he's been "commentating" on snooker for donkey's years, he still understands virtually nothing about the game
