Imagine people sitting in the plane, possibly scared of flying, but then looking out to see the natural paintbrush this earth provides, and knowing that everything is going to be perfectly fine. What a beautiful universe we live in.
@bjornpilot4 жыл бұрын
If people who are worried about flying focus on how beautiful it is, they tend to forget all their worries. They should, because being worried is such an uneccesary suffering and waste of energy. It's the backside of human creativity, as I write in the description. There is NO drama in flying.
@rockchildofthe60s692 жыл бұрын
Exactly the reason I watch out the window. To see the crazy landscape below (even though I am completely terrified of heights) but looking at the earth helps. Flight attendants usually don't know much about odd things were flying over so I always ask the pilots to tell me before hand what cool landmarks to look out for. I used to not be scared of flying until 911 and watching people jump from the WTC and I was on a flight the day before and those 2 things considerably fucked me up mentally so now I have to have a agenda for flying. If I am excited about finding landmarks I don't have time to get freaked out over the height. Just a little trick I figured out over time. But you are spot on with the scenery being a huge comfort for people who are scared of flying. Well done!

I really love your videos. Because you also show the views from above, besides the pilot's work. What I also would like to see, but not in one video: - The back wall of an Airbus cockpit (where do you hang your coat, bag, jump seat, ...) - Where the fuel goes in - Where the cool air and electricity goes in on the ground - Where the toilet stuff goes out - Airbus doors - Pantry and restroom (already know pantries from FA vlogs and restrooms from passengers vlogs), but a pilot's view could be interesting

Thanks for the video with the turbulence capt. On December 25 2005 I was on a flight back from the UK to NY on a 747 when we hit moderate to severe turbulence. It's what started this fear. Capt Ron (from one course) suggested to ask the pilot after the flight if we ever were in any danger, I really wish I had. It probably would have stopped it from getting worse. I have a plan to take a course and get exposure to flying after this pandemic. After 10 years of not flying its hard to go in one without the illogical side of the brain to take over especially if they are long flights
@bjornpilot4 жыл бұрын
I can guarantee you that there was no danger on that flight. The only problem with turbulence is when passenger bumps into something walking around in the plane. Or if you spill coffee. ☕😅 That's why we ask passengers to sit down with belts and we secure equipment like heavy carts etc.
