The rules are largely the same as in original ITO, I've just patched in a couple of small things (Bulky, Deprived) from EB.

Great! This game better have Muppets like Bastionland :-) If you have tons of tables, please consider hiring whoever did the layout for Mothership's RPG, that book and PDF are easy on the eyes!

Afraid the Mockeries aren't in Into the Odd! They're definitely more in line with Electric Bastionland. Johan is doing the full layout for this, and the tables are looking great. Mothership is amazing, of course.

There are full details on the Kickstarter page, but this is the relevant excerpt. ----- What’s the connection to Electric Bastionland? Into the Odd was released five years before Electric Bastionland, and represents the industrial period of Bastionland’s history, as well as a tone more focused on horror and esotericism. While EB was written to provide guidance on adventure creation, Into the Odd is written to be table-ready straight from the book, with a large sample adventure included. Both games are based on largely the same ruleset, and there’s minimal conversion required to move content between the two. ----- There's a full video readthrough on there too if you want to see in more detail.

Do you people play Into the Odd in a dark and serious tone, like a black and white movie? Or do you prefer a total bonkers, hilarious game? I tend to mix both and the effect is even more boners and wild. I hope the shipping costs doesn't kill this KS for me, so I don't want to hype too much, but it's hard, considering Into the Odd is one of my two favorite role-playing games ever.

The shipping costs will be on the KS page when it launches, and as it's being handled by FL they're using a number of different distribution locations, so fingers crossed it all comes out at a good cost for you.
