I noticed in the game that they toned down Oswald's brattiness a lot. This definitely reads like a "be careful what you wish for" story that's common with the Fazbear Frights books. Oswald wanting to hide in the ballpit to punish his dad makes more sense here than in the game, where Oswald doesn't really feel that angry at his dad, but decides to hide in the ballpit anyway. I have to admit, character-wise it makes more sense here. Maybe Scott figured players who'd play the game would've read the original story first, or it could be a revision of sorts?

This story actually gave me chills, imagine being stuck with a monster in your house while everyone thinks it’s your dad… there are some weird parts to the story like the rabbits motivations being unclear (why was it pretending to be the dad, after all at the start and at the end it just wanted to kill Oswald, so why couldn’t it have just done it?)

I think it was trying to relive two of Afton’s desires. Killing the kids at the pizzeria then wanting to be a father of the family. Pit Bonnie finally went to kill Oswald when he was trying to save his real dad.

i’ve never been a fan of audio books due to the fact that it was hard for me to visualize the setting or whats going on. but your pronunciation and attention to make each character have a distinct voice for themselves made this super easy to follow along. i could just envision it in my head and could easily follow the story. granted i’m listening to this after watching the Into the Pit gameplay so it’s easy to visualize it. but i am super grateful for the way you read the book. thank you so much for helping me get into audiobooks! i’ve been wanting to for a while but had a bad start to it with a hard to understand narrator. i hope you keep up the good work and end up reading the rest of the series! i would be super delighted to watch / listen to another audiobook that you read!

I hope this doesn't get copyright slapped, because this slaps! Good stuff. I'd recommend extending the pause/silence between vastly different scenes a tiny bit more maybe, there was one (1) scene change that felt a bit jarring because you didn't really pause between the two (or no more than between two regular paragraphs, I suppose). Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable reading/audiobook! I'd never realized how long the setup before Oswald actually goes into the pit is, since I've only listened to a bunch of different summaries and haven't read the Frights books. Keep 'em coming! I'm looking forward to listening to listening to your interactive novel reading! (I hadn't noticed it was on your main channel, ahah)

Other than finding the Dad in the pit, it feels a lot easier to say that Oswald’s dad was never taken and Oz’s repeated exposure to the pit created a lingering hallucination that followed him out and overlayed all his Dad’s actions. Because how did Pittrap know where to drive to get Oz home? Wouldn’t everyone else find it weird if he wasn’t eating or drinking anything? Jinks could have just been reacting to Oz’s panicked state, like how animals often can read the emotions of their owners and move to protect them. Maybe the dad came after Oz when he ran off to return to the pit and really did crack his head when Oz started to struggle against him, but the suit being strangled was just a shared hallucination now that they’ve both been in the pit.
