In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, "Into the Storm" throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme.

I was home alone when el reno strikes in 2013. It was around 6:06PM. I was chilling in the living room when i heard the alarm blared on my phone. An EF5 was aiming straight at me. Immediately i ran into my basement which is pretty deep underground (about 8 meter depth) and i stayed there for what felt like forever. At first there was nothing until i heard wind and debris falling over. It got louder and louder until at some point the wind is so loud it almost sound like a freight train or a turbojet engine literally right above me. I forgot how much i prayed to god at that time. When everything falls silent, i slowly walked outside only to see my house is gone, like GONE gone. There were cars, trees, power lines all that kind if stuff. I was the only man standing amongst the no man's land. I contacted my parents and luckily they were in NY with my grandparents. This is a reminder that, tornadoes are no joke

Fun fact about Twister, those twisters were replicated in real life, in other words they had a jet engine blasting them with 100 mile per hour winds, large blocks of ice being chipped up and then hurled at the car. Dropping things from cranes. Even that exploding gas tanker was real. The actors found it very hard to remain in character because the storms felt so real. now that is the reason I really wished they had not closed Twister the ride, because I would have been excited and petrified to experience the one force of nature, I have an almost obsessive fascination with.
