Hi! 😊 The day has finally arrived to share my “Into the Unknown” song cover and video project with you all, and now I’m feeling really nervous and scared to do so! 🙈 *Deep breaths* Thank you to everyone who showed support during the past month! 💕 It meant so much! Keep in mind that I am a complete beginner at singing, and it is a very vulnerable thing to sing and share it with the world. I also do not have a strong or powerful voice like Idina Menzel does (who I absolutely admire her talent!), nor do I claim to even be good at singing. I am FAR from it, but I tried my very best with this difficult song and will continue to practice and work on improving all of the areas that need improvement. I mostly wanted to film the video sections, which were so much fun to create and animate! ✨✨✨ Working on this project also taught me so many new things I’ve never tried before! I hope you will be able to look past my voice and still enjoy the other aspects of this video! Thank you for being kind and gracious! P.s. This is best listened to on high quality speakers or headphones to hear the full range. Phone speakers tend to sound horrible in most situations. Enjoy!

Hey! ❤ I'm sorry it took me 100 million years to get here! I've had the worst grogginess the past week, and I didn't want to write a sloppy comment. When I had seen this though, I smiled all the way through!! The quality of everything from the camera work to the audio is ever so present, and I just absolutely adore you as a practical filmmaker. Ever since your hamster cage tours I've always known you were an elite editor and video producer, but seeing your second channel sprout has been so awesome. I go back to your warrior video now and then; I love it sm. You are absolutely beautiful! I love your look especially when you are singing the backing vocals in the white dress 🤍💙🤍💙 The part where you go to the balcony is super cool because of the way you edited it; it looks realistic, and I also really like the contrast in lighting and colors. It's never bland and feels really mystical! The way the snow passes you as you're dancing is also super neat!! I love the lil' animals passing by too heheh! My fav part might even be when you put your foot down and the snowflake appears along with a bunch of flurries all around! Eveything in motion moves so fluidly. You are super creative and that seems really tough to pull off, but you absolutely exceeded that I think!! (Lol I know absolutely nothing of editing, I've only ever tried merging clips together in Adobe Premeire once and failed horribly. But as complex as some software can get, I can only imagine this must have not been cake to do!) The lighting changes at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="193">3:13</a> as the magic and snow (I think? I don't know if Frozen designated what these are called lol!) pass you show great attention to detail as well. I love how you crafted each part so well! The part with all of the diamonds and crystals came out flawless too; the way they appear on screen as the camera pans away a little really embellishes the whole scene that much more. The camera work and editing go hand in hand beautifully! As if visually this wasn't already amazing enough, my absolute FAVORITE part about this video was your singing. You have a BEAUTIFUL voice. I know I've said this many times already, but I've always thought you have such a sweet, nice singing voice, but my goodness, it is absolutely gorgeous in this video especially! You had said that you took lessons, and your efforts stand out SO much! 💗 I smiled as soon as I heard you start to sing. Absolutely amazing improvement, and I can't get over it. I actually prefer your cover to the original, which was already my fav song from Frozen. I'd seriously buy an album if you released one!! I saw your posts about the video being finished after I had already watched it, and I was seriously so floored that you had said you didn't claim to be good at singing and that you hope people could look past your voice. Hi again! Okay I'm back to type you a proper reply now! 😊 Firstly, I hope your grogginess has lifted and that you are feeling better now! I totally understand that feeling and how difficult it can be to find the brain power to do anything during those weeks, especially typing coherent sentences. It's overwhelming! Thank you again for all of the compliments you've given and for taking the time to notice so many of the small details that tend to be overlooked on KZbin! (Let's face it, most viewers on KZbin have the attention span of a fly and don't often understand the work or effort that is involved to bring content. 😂 ) So thank YOU for noticing and appreciating! 💗 I am absolutely thrilled to hear of your interest and plans in taking singing lessons with your middle school choir teacher! That is very exciting for you and you will have to keep me updated how it goes! I would LOVE to take actual singing lessons from a teacher some day, but right now I don't have the extra finances to do that, so I have been relying solely on KZbin videos, researching articles on singing, and trying to teach myself as much as possible. Obviously it is so much better to have an instructor who can make sure you are doing it properly, so it is wonderful you have the opportunity for that! Two of the YT channels I would also recommend you to check out is "Jacob's Vocal Academy" and "Tara Simon Studios." The first channel uploads tons of helpful videos that range from doing vocal warm-up or cool-down exercises, developing vibrato, improving vocal tone, increasing vocal range, riffs and runs, etc. My favorite videos that I refer to all the time are the "Vocal Exercises for Singing High Notes" (to help strengthen and increase that range), "Vocal Exercises for an Awesome Voice," "Head Voice Exercises," and so many others. That channel has helped me a TON and it is direct and straight to the point. Tara Simon Studio's channel is a mix of learning and fun videos. She is a Christian and seems very sweet as a person too, so I love watching her content. She had a "Sing Better In Seconds" series where she would teach random strangers how to sing better in seconds by giving tips, etc. She also has some free tutorials and might be offering an online singing program soon. Another tip I would suggest is to always do some vocal warm-up exercises before singing, especially lip rolls! This was something I never knew in past, and it makes a big difference to warm up properly first. Drinking warm water / herbal tea with honey also is fabulous for your voice during singing. Anyways, I'm sure your teacher will have much better information and tips for you, but I wanted to pass on the few things I've learned these past months! :) :) Please let me know how it all goes for you! I am glad you liked the magic sparkles! 😂😂 (I thought of you when I was animating them hehe!) The reflection scene was the second most difficult shot to do in this, and I really did not think it would even be possible to create. It took a TON of trial and error to get it work properly, but it was a bluescreen shot with a miniature set in the background. Then I vertically flipped my main body to be the reflection, added some blur, and keyframed the movements to match the upright shot. It was something I've never tried doing before! 🙈 Thank you thank you for being so sweet! Hugs! 💕
