Joel Gawne But that in itself is a flaw, one shown clearly when we see many Sith who follow said belief without actually considering other perspectives or ways of life. True you can succeed in life through one’s own belief and force it onto others so that they may submit to it, but that in itself is not exactly the point of the Force, which for me matters more. I do not condone the Jedi though and especially the prequel to original trilogy kind, for even with some of their leniency they still end up becoming foolish in the truth of the world and every little morsel of experience that happens in their galaxy. Kreia in a way is a perfect force sensitive, for she at least has seen the core of people throughout the galaxy and have in a way accepted them as truths, both the light and dark actions. But, the minor flaw in her belief is her extreme but understandable conclusion and solution to a very clear problem with how the Force seemingly works.

Well Darth Plaguies as well understood what the dark side did to the one who uses it, but he embraced it. "The power of the dark side is an illness no true Sith would wish to be cured of" -Darth Plagueis speaking to Darth Sidious For more context (if you haven't read the book) Plaguies was telling sidious about how dark side powers can have adverse affects on the body making the user appear as a "pale skin, yellow eyed monster" as he put it. The dark side of the force is a flame that burns bright but consumes the being within those flames. The power of the dark side comes at a cost. A person needs to give themselves over to it fully to truly embrace it, if they ever want to master it. "Fearless, we welcome whatever paths the dark side sets us on...and whatever destiny it lays out for us" "Decedent from Darth Bane, we are the select few who refuse to be carried by the force...and who carry it instead" -two more quotes from darth Plagueis That's simply the price of the dark side...the price of power and immortality

@@michaelczuba1030 that's ironic as the last 2 lines say opposite things about the darkside's control over them.
@michaelczuba10305 жыл бұрын
@@jacobmcneer609 well yes but actually no...what he meant by fearlessly walking whatever path the dark side sets them on, he meant to not shy away from whatever pain, suffering or struggle lay on the path before them, the path layed out for them by the dark side. To rise to the challenge and prove through ones self determination that the force was thier power...thier weapon, thiers to claim. (page 194); Plagueis speaking to Palpatine: “The Force tries to resist the callings of ravenous spirits; therefore it must be broken and made a beast of burden. It must be made to answer to one’s will.” In your defense though I do see where you are coming from but. Even Darth Bane understood that sith teachings held many contradictions. But it was up to the one studying the dark side to work out these contradictions and figure out the way of the dark side for themself. (page 199); Plagueis speaking to Palpatine: “…You must discover the dark side in your own way, and perfect your power in your own fashion." So why both quotes work is because, the Sith do not shy away from the path the dark side sets them on, the suffering, the pain, the self harm and mutilation. But chose to embrace it and rise above and make that very power thier own. Edit: I would have liked to add some Bane quotes but couldn't find the ones that fit this specific argument (I think around the time Bane found Revans holochron he realized that sith teachings had many contradictions, it was also around this time he formulated the idea of the "rule of two")

Here's the genius of this video, why Dudu Films is officially a madlad, GOAT. This video starts with that quote from Kreia, then it goes into the rest of the video, a building crescendo that probably would've been any other Dark Side themed video that decides to not lean on the edge. It puts you the viewer in a greater, and greater sense of high, that makes you feel how awesome the dark side is....then you get to the end. That ending, it's a bit more than the words spoke, the hollow feeling it leave you with, it ties back to the beginning. That hollowness we feel isn't just from the hype being suddenly snuffed out like a candle. Those words, and who said them, takes us back to the start of the video, and we remember, and we realize 'we should've seen this coming', but we got swept up in it all, in the hype, in the power, in the darkside. Your boy Dudu literally made a video that captures and allows us the audience to feel like a darksider who suddenly realized what they have become, fallen.

Kreia definitely elevates this video to something special. Wonderful way to cap the video’s beginning and end.

Wow, I've just discovered your videos and they're so, so epic. amazing work!!

Fun fact: in Polish, tak means "yes" or "I admit it". In 1:30, when Vaylin says tak, Arcann realizes that he killed his brother. Thus telling himself "yes, I failed, yes I did it". It also has a connection with Kreia's words in the beginning, because she says "It is such a quiet thing to fall, but far more terrible to admit it.", thus connecting it to Arcann, saying tak to his brother's death. I don't know if you understand what I said.

Except that Vailyn is saying "tick-tock" which is onomatopoeia for the sound of a clock

This video perfectly captures the spirit of the dark side, it grants you immense power, but in the end, leaves you cold and empty, a shadow of your former self. All you loved, burned away until there is only a shell.

I loved kotor 1&2. Especially kotor 2. It expanded on and delved into the force like never before. Its more than light vs dark, good vs evil, it’s both. The force has its own will. Kreia was amazing to listen to. I loved hearing her lessons

I love Darth Zannah. She's one of my top 5 favorite Sith. The perfect fusion of brains, brawn, and beauty. So glad you added her in this

Holy shit mate... I've been watching your edits for about 2 or 3 years now I think. And... I seriously have no words to describe it... You've just outdone yourself. It's your best video ever. I'm still quite shocked after what I saw so excuse my absolutely broken English but damn that was brilliant

Since The Old Republic is still ongoing and still in the Legends continuity, how come they never referenced the Lost Tribe of Kesh? Those are probably the most interesting group of Sith I've seen because they built a fully functioning and stable society that lasted over 5000 years despite adhering to the Sith Code. Funnily enough, as soon as they spread to the stars again after five millennia and tried to claim the galaxy, their society collapsed, not from war or anything but from being corrupted by Abeloth.
@papawedge73965 жыл бұрын
Well they probably didin't mention them because they are unknown from the rest of the galaxy until they meet them in Fate of the Jedi over 40 ABY, it wouldn't make sense to make them meet the Republic prior to that.

In reality, it's not so much a matter of being 'broken' - but to become *a conduit of anger* - until that is _all_ there is. A *'scourge of God'* .
