Thanks for your kind words. I agree, McCandless's story is captivating. I put these chapters together for the students I teach in Maine ( I am planning on finishing the 5 or 6 missing chapters in the next few weeks), and have found that it has reached more than only my students :). Many of the photos I have found while putting this together came from either googling the setting of the novel and adding "early 1990s" to the search. Also, Chris's family published the book Back to the Wild....a collection of the photos that were developed from the rolls of film and the journal entries found with him in Alaska. www.christophermccandless.info/backtothewild.html
