Do you need to do anything special to cleanly record whistling? I've been wanting to do multitrack whistling stuff on the 'choob for ages.

I sort of record a bit off-axis so I'm not blowing directly into the microphone, and of course I try to do it late at night to reduce ambient noise since it's difficult for me to get consistent dynamics and that necessitates pretty heavy compression or volume automation. I also do a bunch of passes and create a comp of the best parts of each take. Hope that helps you do some multitrack whistling!
