Into The Woods Synopsis: INTO THE WOODS is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them. Rob Marshall, the talented filmmaker behind the Academy Award-winning musical “Chicago” and Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” helms the film, which is based on the Tony-winning original musical by James Lapine, who also penned the screenplay, and legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, who provides the music and lyrics. My son's school did Into the Woods. Amazing costumes and they brought in the bark, that you have in the garden, into their PE auditorium. They must've had so much fun removing it afterwards, basically filled the entire floor and some real tree stumps as well. Considering a high school production, the costumes, cast and scenography was amazing

Audrey Bloomfield she didn’t correct Anna but she said breathless because it would have been! Anna was referring to her singing as being breathy which is the correct word to use whereas Meryl was laughing because she said it would have been “breathless” as in she wouldn’t have had any breath at all to sing. She wasn’t correcting her. She didn’t even interrupt what she was saying. She quietly said it to Christine Baranski who is a good friend of hers (obviously they did Mamma Mia together so it was probably an inside joke for them as they had a lot of dancing numbers where they were trying to sing at the same time). I don’t think it was rude at all. Everyone else was laughing at it.

Ok, this is why this movie is trash. 1. Terrible songs 2. Corden should never be allowed to narrate because of his squeacky voice. Next time try Morgan Freeman. 3. And for most of all, the most important thing is... You should never, NEVER EVER kill Emily Blunt in the movie. In any movie, even about the nuclear apocalypse. Even in that one about asteroid hitting the Earth! There should be always two survivors, roaches and Emily Blunt. Without her, living, movie, anything basically has no meaning
