i couldn't tell you how helpful it is, i feel many people concentrate more on using big words rather than explaining things in a comprehensible effective manner. so thank you very much for being effective.

This video is a great presentation and nice overview of the research process. It is imperative for undergraduates to learn this process by the time they graduate, as many just employ ad-sponsored search engines to conduct research for literature reviews. This is a problem as many will continue to utilize these quick searches for the quickest result, sacrificing quality and most likely credibility. Finding and presenting the facts to support a claim is just as important as understanding the ethics behind conducting research. With writing being a recursive process, it only makes makes sense that the research process be one too.

This video describes quantitative research & qualitative research in a manner that could wrongly imply that they’re competing sects, each of which is based on a starkly different theory-quantitative research being based on extreme objectivism, and qualitative research being based on extreme subjectivism. And then researchers would perhaps have to choose sides between quantitative research and qualitative research, supporting one and opposing the other. But this isn’t true at all, and I doubt that the video intended to give such a silly impression. Actually, quantitative research and qualitative research are both obviously important. They are NOT based on extremely divergent philosophical assumptions. The video could have been much more clear about this.
