It is more logical to say it in the Garage because they can sort out the problems of understeer and oversteer as well as how the springs and dampers react going on the curbs. Lewis' interview with the BBC (Nurburgring) : "The car had too much understeer so we adjusted but then it got worse and we had too much understeer so hopefully the balance will be ok for qualifying" What happened he got pole.

That's the thing. If Vettel has a genuine cause for upset, he doesn't say much, but if someone overtakes him, or he can't get past someone, or he's not the fastest guy in the race, the whining starts. There's a difference between whining and complaining.

Jenson Button doesn't make excuses all the time, he is just telling the press what went wrong because he has a lot of bad luck and this year the car isn't the best. It must be frustrating for him to the one of the best drivers and not to have a car which can win races. Look at Canada 2011.
