That’s a lot of missions to repair the plane. My bad I guess, since technician did indicated landing gear needed some maintenance.

@@NookaNifty When you can't get a download speed of more than 1/50th of what you pay for because of Microsofts crap servers, in 2020 it was bearable. Just turn your computer on, go to bed, and teh next day maybe the world update will be downloaded. In 2024, as there is no way to download this content, or for the content to even remain preserved on your computer after a flight, you will wait 10 minutes for the game to load (with rude error messages claiming that 500mb/s internet is not fast enough) and when you do get into the game, its another 15 minutes just for the gauges on a 152 to appears. that is fundamentally broken to me. Players should not be expected to have to wait up to half an hour, per flight, because someone had some silly idea about not letting people download content. The mouse pointer for the main menu was a streamed asset. Surely that could be save locally on my computer??

Exactly. It makes no sense. You’re expected to have a 5,000 dollar computer but you don’t need a large hard drive 😂 It’s ludicrous because a lot of people have data caps and internet can be unstable at times. There was not a damn thing wrong with the 2020 approach to way they spread data.

thanks for flying my region of familiarity - Made that approach in a 182 in the past - can be tricky certainly - An A320 ready for takeoff - would not until we reached the cross over point half way as we were hard to see flying down the side of the mountain - as I flew over the centre of the runway, he began his runway roll. As for 2024.. Personally I have refrained from buying 2024 until it is ready - I feel we (the buyers) are once again beta testers for a too early a release and given we need to pay again, I do think this sits a little uncomfortably with me. We are essentially testing global usage for an online product so they can fine tune it. While I can concede there is no other way - it would have been better strategy to lower the buy in rate for existing users as first adopters while they test out and fine tune the product. I do realize that Asobo has released a lot of free content over the past 4 years and I am certainly not ungrateful. As for the Inibuilds A321 LR - seems to have all the bells and whistles - but I have heard that many first adopters are complaining that the flight models feel too light and twitchy

I haven’t ventured into msfs2024 yet and as a whole I like msfs but I still hold the opinion that even 4 years later I don’t think 2020 is up to what I felt like was advertised, and to be fair my opinion of what was advertised was going to be a sim where I didn’t have to rely on a thousand third party developers to have a good sim yet here we are. i know everyone needs payed including developers i just wish sims would contract out with a lot of developers like they did with inibuilds to create a base sim that people can enjoy high fidelity aircraft without paying more than the cost of the sim.
@themorethemerrier2812 күн бұрын
Sounds quite out of touch. Of course, you can fly around in the default sim. And if you want more than you can get more. Who promised you a level D simulator for the price of a restaurant dinner?
@paulD4272 күн бұрын
@ I don’t think I’m expecting anything crazy from a sim that cost 100+ dollars cause most people aren’t just buying the base sim, 2020 to this day never implemented something as simple as a default pushback that worked like better push back from xplane or similar to what gsx does that’s only one example but that is a really basic feature in my opinion that no sim ever seems to implement, then your hunting down either payware or freeware that may or may not work correctly just to complete something that should have been implemented as a default feature. maybe I have overly high standards but at the prices of the sims today and the tech that’s available I do expect more than what was delivered I’m not looking for a pmdg quality but the default aircraft in 2020 wasn’t even at a level of some freeware stuff let’s be honest. Again I enjoy the sims and dont mind paying for things I’d consider extra like better atc features or specific aircraft and no one promised me anything but your lying to yourself if you don’t think every game dev ever has showcased features for games that never came to be or showed up right at the end when the game is all but dead.

Hi James, With respect, I can see why it might look like that but actually, that presumption is way wide of the mark. I’ve never been provided with any preview / free addons by iniBuilds; the only products that I have reviewed of theirs to date (both positively and less favourably), I have paid for with my own money. I have spent a good few years building this channel, based on a foundation of honesty and integrity (if you don’t believe me, take a look at my review of the Aerosoft A330 - which I did receive gratis, from Aerosoft). It would be nonsensical, to throw away all of that hard work, for the price of a free addon haha. As I mentioned during the intro, the motivation for this flight, was simply to address some shortcomings in my previous video and give the aircraft another look, primarily because the iniBuilds tech pilot was so polite and reasoned with his feedback. I hope that clears up any doubt / ambiguity. All the best! : )

@@brandonchappell1535 it’s one f the things that baffles me… This and the fact that in 2024 more than 30 years after the first War in Zee Gulf we still do not have a “Bagdad DCA by night” screen saver but meanwhile had a karaoke version of “afterdark”’s flying toaster ride of the Valkyries theme on MacOS…

I stopped using any INI plane in FS2024 until they fix them. All INI planes have some kind of broken thing right now. Gladly we have Fenix while we wait for INI to push updates

Thank you (everyone) for making sure this sim is polished before I dive in. I'll probably purchase it in a year or so.

Sounds like MS still can't approach X-plane for their realistic "feeling of flight" but they have the visuals!

You right, XP12 flight model got surpassed. Watch comparison of Fenix vs Tolis by V1. Xplane fanboys are mad.

I said it once and I'll say it again, MSFS 2024 was the last nail in the coffin for Xturd.

If the new Airbus 320 is like the real one, this would make it the first good Asobo plane altogether. What is Inibuilds anyway? Is it better than other models?

Why you're *still wrong about MSFS 😂

You weren't wrong about FS 2024 in your first video. You were spot on. The truth is MSFS2024 is an utter bug-ridden disgrace. From the disastrous launch, when they should have known about server loads, to the hundreds and hundreds of bugs in the program. Airports missing terminals, entire airports missing, airborne jetways, aircraft with wings missing, avatars hanging upside down out of flying aircraft, blurry terrain, CTDs etc etc. It's pathetic and what's infuriating is Jorg's utter denial of that reality. They rushed it out and they knew it wasn't ready. It's going to take a full year before it's even close to fixed. If you're wondering who the beta testers are, it's the people who bought this joke of a program. I got a refund as I won't reward their incompetence.

add to that flaps resetting themselves mid flight, zero fuel guages for no reason, audio loss, character getting trapped under the aircraft, contradictory notifications and I've barely played it on Game pass.

Unfortunately for you your rant here is fact-free and full of lies. I have no doubt that you would lie about your own mother to try and advantage yourself.

Asobo fell short for the project span... they should´ve stick with MSFS2020 and make an even more stunning product...

FS2024 is great and bugs where expected. I do not agree with all the complaints from the click collecting youtube community.
