Hi, Victor here. Nice to see another CE enthusiast! This is a first glimpse of the cast in this universe. It actually helps with the immersion not knowing much beforehand. That being said, lore wise, Wanderlings might not exactly be the most common entity. People could also be thrown off by them not being manifestations of the Slip (at least in this case). Took an opportunity to introduce an unconventional character that sets some of the mood of the universe. There is much left to explore. We shall see in the next episode!
