As someone who drank from the bitter cup of my own frustrations. It doesn’t taste good at all. But I strive to be better and I think it shows. Something I remind myself of. They say fight fire with fire, everyone gets burned. Trying to warm people’s hearts. Encourage and edify. Can go a long way. Churches that try to appease evil by saying we can coexist. Instead of giving the antidote to those who need it. We might offend others with the truth but at least it’s a small start. Can’t hurt to share the message of Jesus to everyone. He’s coming back and he’s the only way. I can’t wait myself. It’s gonna be Harry Carry on this earth. We need to be ready. God bless everyone on this Friday morning.

Your mind can go down pathways you don't want. And it's easy to cede power to it, and just let it flow, toxins and all. You don't have to go that way, though. Turn your mind away from this when you see it happening - not just by saying "I'm not going to think about this", but by 'switching tracks' and thinking about something else. Choosing to not think about pink elephants is a great way to ponder pink elephants. You have to choose to think about something else, instead. Memorizing some scripture, or hymns, and remembering these are good ways to get off the road of bitterness, and to obey God's Word instead. We are, after all, to 'renew our minds', as Romans 12 notes. Highly recommend memorizing Romans 12, by the way! I've a long way to go, but Jesus is worthy.

I am pretty sure Jesus cried out in pain, while being scourged by Romans and it was more than "whimper." When he went to the Stake Cross and felt pain as any man would. He was fully man and Fully GOD, and suffered greatly. Crucifixion by Romans who made it worse than the Assyrian practice they learned from. They kept detailed records and drawings of their victims, barbaric to say the least.
