I was sharing a lot of the old flash games I grew up playing to my friends because they never played games like these. I played this series, maybe when I was about 8 years old. Now as a adult and late to the news finding out that he passed away hurts me a lot. Rest in peace man and thank you for making a part of a childhood

When i saw this beautiful remake animation after knowing about death of Author of original series, i feel sad. I didn't knew BlackDevilX personally and now will never meet him in the future, but i have feeling of losing an old childhood friend. His works give us such good flash series and first crossover some of my favorite childhood heroes (Sonic and Megaman X). It's hard to know that his series now stay unfinished forever, but the memories that BDX give to me from his works is also stay in my heart. Rest In Peace, Legend!

I’ll admit, I missed the boat on this series. I missed the boat on a lot of classic Sonic flash series if I’m being honest, which I’m bummed about because these different animations and series had a lot of effort poured into them. I remember when I was a lot younger I found one of these games on some website, tried it, lost because I suck at RPGs, quit because I was a tiny-brained child and never thought about it again. Apparently I was wrong to do so because apparently these games are really good. I’m sad to hear the creator is no longer with us, but I hope he knew how much of an impact he left. Game development is hard, even for flash games, yet he was able to make a whole RPG series that people love, and I have to respect him for that. Rest In Peace, and best wishes to his loved ones. 🫡
