Intro to Art With Jim Freeheart

Simple Drawing lessons using a dark graphite pencil and Painting videos using Golden Open Acrylics. Tutorial Videos showing how to simplify the art of drawing. Often using basic shapes I'll show how to turn these shapes into 3D looking drawings of nature, scenes, clouds, waves and animals !
Includes Acrylic Painting Demos of painting in acrylics as well as short "Time-Lapse" videos of paintings being done mostly on location.
I have a few full length painting videos now using my favorite - "Golden Open Acrylics"
I am primarily a plein air painter creating canvases out in nature. I've used Acrylics as my primary medium for over 40 years.
I love to teach and volunteer in schools around the world.
During my daily painting sessions I put out drawing materials for all who come by! The magical connections that occur are so wonderful!

Thanks for your feedback! I do mumble at times and what I was trying to say was - TAN Paper or grey paper like construction paper so that the "Mid Tones are done by the background and we just draw the deep shadows and the bright lights!
