Can we use the frontmatter stuff in components? Like i am confused what do I add in the layout attribute if i am using the md file in components.

That seems like an easy way to setup a blog. I'm actually working with Next.js currently at work, and it seems similar to how they use mdx files. I like the idea though, thanks for the video.

Glad you got something out of it. There is also mdx support with Astro.. It's one of many videos I plan to make. You will probably find the set up quite simple docs.astro.build/en/guides/integrations-guide/mdx/ Its then a case of changing the file name to .mdx and going for it

If your looking into static site generation it has a place. Its the only JS SSG that does not ship javascript by default.
