Intro To Futures Trading | Best Futures Brokers

I'm still trying to find someone that shows futures being traded. I'm talking the basic entry and exit. Do I type in MES in an option chain? Because it looks weird in IBKR when I do that. Makes it look like micros would cost a lot more than they should. Do you use an option chain at all for futures buying/selling? Is there a best way to setup defaul limit order settings to scalp futures? Does my IBKR account have to be margin instead of cash? These are things I've been trying to figure out for weeks lol. I've just been using market orders to scalp SPY and QQQ, sometimes AAPL. I'm starting to think I need to change around my layout and default order entry if I move over to e micro futures. IBKR chat wasn't very helpful and couldn't give me any direct answers of what I would need to start trading micro futures.

Have you tried using trading view and the IBKR together?

@@kerry-annfidd4237 A lot of changes since this comment. I'm only trading futures now ES and NQ on Tradovate. I'm funded with Apex trading prop firm. Charting with ToS. Been thinking about trying tradingview with this black friday deal going on.

Think or Swim sucks when it comes to margin requirements. Trade Station is better. I use a brokerage for days trades where I only need $500.00 for the ES. It‘s good to shop around before committing to any broker

Can we trade options on futures on tradovate and if yes, do they show option greeks in option chain?
