Why not increase the plane's resolution with the inputs? Go to the polyPlane inputs and increase the subdivs on the width and height. smoothing adds more data to your history as well.

Im getting a error: Sculpting not permitted. Create a blend shape deformer and add a tangent space target to use sculpting tools on meshes bound to skin.

7 minutes to show push n pull on same tool :) Sorry I appreciate you're trying to help people, BUT your explanations could be a lot better if you simply condensed that entire 7 minutes into Sculpt with this tool to pull and press CTRL to push (8 seconds to teach that bit really) :)
