Kelly- after watching this video l went right away & ordered both. I've been playing with them ever since l received them !!!! So much FUN!! Now l can't wait ' till Christmas so l can show off what l've done. On the large wreath l repeated the same process on the back gluing the wreaths back to back. I put a gold cord at the top so l can use it as an ornament!! This was the first one l finished so it's going on my tree. Now l'm going to make a bunch more so l can send them to family & friends. So many thanks to the designer of these wreaths. Big hugs! 👍🤗🤗❤️❤️

Love the wreaths. It's called a swag. A garland is thinner and is used to wrap around and drap. The short stiffer form that you made is a swag.

Super cute die sets, Kelly! Thanks for always doing these fun videos and showing us how these products can be used! :-) Regarding your floral arrangement question: if it's flat like on a table or coffin, the double sided arrangement you made is a "spray" (named after the use of a single blooming branch or flower for ceremonial decoration). If it is front facing (like sitting on a mantle or hanging on a wall), it is called a "swag" and can apply to long garlands or, like what you made, smaller pieces that have a fixed center with branches going outward. Hope that's helpful! Keep up the great work and have a beautiful day. :-)

Hey Kelly...I love the fullness of your wreath and am so happy you showed us how to achieve that look. I wouldn't call myself a home decorator by any meansl but I would call the greenery laying across a mantel either a garland or swag (I only know the term 'swag' from a recent video from Nichol S who used this term). Doesn't that drive you crazy when you can't think of the name of something....made me laugh! TFS Kelly and DT!

My florist calls it a swag or a garland, depending on how long it is. You could make both! Cute

I've always known it as a " swag". A garland is much longer for a mantel or staircase.

long ones are called garlands, short horizontal ones are called swags, long or short vertical ones are called sprays. Fresh ones made with evergreen pine (noble) boughs make pretty, fragrant garlands, swags, sprays with or with pine cones however, go EASY on Cinnamon or scented pine cones...A little goes a very long way! May be a bit overwhelming for one who IS sensitive to fragrance, scents.

It's called a spray or swag depending on what it is being used for. If it's over a door or on a wall it's a swag. Hugs

Hi, can you please tell me what the name of the glue dispenser was, that you used at 1:10? I looked at your supplies list, but you didn't list that - or maybe I just missed seeing it. Please let me know. Thank you so much. Beth

Hello, we used a liquid glue with a fine tip dispenser. You can find the dispenser/glue bottle at online craft stores or check out stores in your area. We will also be coming out with a fine tip glue tube that is so easy to use. It will be available on February 22nd at our lawnfawn.com shop. :)

What is that glue container with metal tip in the beginning? Where can I get that?
@lawnfawn7 жыл бұрын
Hi! It's a fine-tip applicator that fits with many glue bottles like the mini Ranger Multi Medium Matte or Glossy Accents. You can find at many online and local craft stores if you do a web search for fine-tip glue applicator. :)

Really great projects! I have always been curious, though, about using 3-dimensional bows on cards, like the one for the large wreath here. How do you keep the bow from flattening when it goes through the mail? I can think of using tiny bits of foam tape within the bow loops, but even that doesn't seem like an optimal solution, since I would think the bow could still get smooshed around the tape. Just curious. Thanks for sharing these products & examples! :)

Hi Andrea, I think there are some cards that are perfect for hand-delivering to the recipient. If they must be mailed sometimes a bubble mailer or small box work great for keeping dimensional embellishments from getting flattened in the mail. Thanks so much :)
