Thank you for making this great intro to proteomics! Before watching this video I was lost when reading papers on the topic, but now I'm finally getting a better view of it.

Hi, I have a question about what you said at about 15:33 min in the video. So you have the table where the peptide sequence was identified from the MS/MS. From there how do you go back and identify the gene? There will be so many polypeptides in the cell/tissue sample, so how do you know which one is coming from which protein and then subsequently trace back to the gene? Thanks.

Can I use RT q PCR for analysis of the main genes expressed after obtain the protein differentially expressed in MS ? This is a good approach?
