@Coldest of nights 56 To be fair, she says "tyrannical" and "more inhuman." She doesn't say "vampire bad guys" or anything like that. I will agree, however, that it gives a positive spin on Anarchs, though. As for "tyrannical," that IS accurate, though. Each city has one vampire who can order the death of any of his/her citizenry, without that vampire having done anything wrong or even without being accused of doing anything wrong. Even if it's a fair or just killing, there's no trial unless the Prince wants one. That's the power of the Prince, and the major downside of the Camarilla: that one person dictates whether everyone else lives or dies, and can establish, bend, or break rules as he or she pleases. With a just ruler, the Camarilla is - in my opinion - far better than the Anarchs. Without a just ruler, however, it's positively awful. You can be ordered at any moment to do ANYTHING your Prince asks of you, even if it jeopardizes the life of yourself, your friends, your loved ones from when you were alive, etc., regardless of the reason why, or you risk giving the Prince public justification for your execution.

There's going to be a players guide that will cover the other clans at some point (and hopefully explain the Sabbat in more detail), and they're currently working on Werewolf. I'd figure they'll do something similar for Mage, Changeling etc, but not for a while.

Been running a V5 campaign this year, finally coming to an end in session 32 as the party fight a fallen angel. I'm hoping it will be an epic finale :) It's been quite a ride, I highly recommend people give the system a go.

Jeez, a Fallen is a really formidable enemy. If it is a Namaru with Lore of Flame, or Halaku with Lore of Death, to name a few, they are in big trouble. Those will turn the Kindred into dust in moments. Best to try and use the same method Lucifer used to beat Earthbound -- drain the Faith.

I was actually in a game like that once. We played a Dark Ages chronicle all the way through, then transsitioned those characters to Modern Nights. We had a few who wanted to play new characters, and we let them, however, a few kept their DA characters, and it was pretty awesome. It's where I developed my infamous "Brukavian." She was a low gen elder whom was touched by Malkav, himself. I made a symbol and everything. Cracked mirror of Malkavians, but with the Brujah symbol in the reflective part, so it was symbolism that my Brujah was fractured! Fun times!

I've been playing the WoW Tabletop since I was ten. I started Dming it when I was 18. I'm just now at 24 playing through the first Vampire Bloodlines game (how have I made it so long), I'm beyond excited for the next, it's going to be on preorder asap. *A live-action TV series would be nice. Based on the old Vampire, and if many people like it you could continue with the V5 version. There would be a demand for it, and many would love this dark world full of horrors. The World of Darkness would reach a lot more people, so it would be a big advertising space for the whole thing. to be fair Jack was very uncharitable and manipulative there - from a non-Sabbat fledgling perspective, the Sabbat really is completely immoral and scary. But if you look at it as a kindred who wasn't sired yesterday, the Sabbat packs stick up for each other, trust and rely on one another, the kind of deep bond you rarely see in the camarilla or even among many Anarchs, and unlike the other 2 sects they also recognise the threat of Gehenna and are trying to stop it and defeat the rising ancient methuselahs! Yes, they don't care at all about humans and slaughter scores of them gruesomely/nonchalantly without a second thought, but then again an argument could be made that humans do the same thing (or worse) to many animals below thhem on the food chain, and at the end of the day while the Anarchs are busy denouncing the return of the antediluvians as pseudoscience and the Camarilla is busy taking over both Anarch and Sabbat territory in its continuous bid for power while fence-sitting and ignoring the issue of Gehenna altogether, the Sabbat might just save vampire-kind... They have many organisational fuck-ups so chances are they'll fail, but at least they're trying, so from a Kindred-focused moral perspective they're really not worse than the Camarilla.
