This looks fun! I started #12in23 strong but got distracted during Mind-Bending May (I do still want to try Prolog!). Even so, working with Nim in March and Julia in April introduced me to my two favorite languages.

i hope they are engineering challenges and not just "learn the language quirk" challenges.

Most of our exercises are generic across languages, so you can solve them in whatever way is most idiomatic to that language. That's what makes it so interesting - that the best solution in one language might be totally different to the best solution in another. So yeah, not looking at "quriks", but definitely interested in what makes each language interesting to use.
