Is it easy to clean the pot after use to prepare for next use?

Well unless you are changing the metal to a different alloy we don't recommend removing the metal. Let it cool. You can tap it out when it is cold (and the pot is turned off). While you can clean it we don't recommend trying to do it for different metals as contamination between the two metals will occur. The pots are cheap. Buy one for each metal alloy variant instead.

One would assume not, as pewter melts at quite a low temperature however whilst in a liquid state, gold glows orange. This would indicate a far higher melting tempreture.
