It's good, but missing two essential features: 1) ability to set audio input source, 2) support for folders. All the references are jumbled together in one place. It would be great to create a Bass folder, Vocal folder, etc. These folders would then appear in Neutron or Ozone.

I would also like them to add the option to save the reference recordings in a traditional audio format (wav, aiff, mp3, etc etc) so that they can be handled outside of ozone or neutron, such as for mix sessions or other needs

I would love to see it expanded to be more useful as a standalone instead of relying on, "import results to our other products!" If you add a UI element showing the exact frequency when hovering the mouse over the graph it would be a step towards being more useful, or at the bare minimum add in the frequency labels at the bottom like every other plugin you make.

The mic is a LEWITT LCT 1040. Strange enough, it appears like the mic is wrong set up, with the rear side to the speaker. The side where you can see the tube is normaly facing to the front.

@@mirrorten nothing strange. You can define the front of the mic however you want from the power supply. In this situation the directivity has been reversed so that the logo is the front of the mic.

@@CMvidproductions You need a lossless file. FLAC files are probably the best. WAV files work fine too. KZbin does not upload lossless audio. Despite that Audiolens seems to use some type of algorithm to restore what is missing in mp3 equivalent files. I'd use Audiolens over ripping KZbin files.

Dear iZotope. Are you still keeping Tonal Balance Control alive and will there be a new version of it? TBC is a big part of my mixing workflow and keeping it as a separate tool is something I hope still continues on. The integration of audio lens profiles in tools like Neutron & Ozone are awesome, but I would imagine those profiles could also feed into a new version of TBC 😀😎

You open the app outside the DAW. That enables it to "hear" your system audio and sources like Spotify/Apple music. Then if you have Ozone or Neutron, the targets will show up in the assistants in the DAW

If the izotope tools allowed blending between multiple captured profiles during different sections of the target song I think this would be a lot more useful. Best use I can see now is to do something like use spectralayers to pull apart a track and then capture a few parts to apply to a track or two in a mix. Maybe this is more useful in mastering only?

it's useful on its own. You can visualize and capture tonal balance targets from streaming audio and then EQ it manually yourself. Much easier with Ozone though and then you also get the width, dynamics, and loudness matching.

@@peterson53047 you can just compare the eq meter to another song without any relevant data. It doesnt even tell you the frequencies of the reference track, just labels them as low, low mid, mid, high

I'm not really getting that fire up the Audiolens bit. How? It has to in your daw as an insert, yes? The only way to access it is via the portal which doesn't open anything as stand alone plug in unless it's in the daw.....

I have problem with Audiolens on my MAcBook Pro (MacOS Ventura) "System Extension Blocked" doesn't show and after the installation only the QR-Code appears and I can't "Unlock" anything or at least after unlocking and restarting the MAC audiolens still shows the QR code does anybody have or had the same problem?

2:53 Literally lying! It picks up the sound after the changes made by EQ APO. It's the most popular program for room or headphone correction on Windows (ask REW users). Also, the UI and UX are like a school project made in 1 hour by reusing old work without adding anything new (like categories, proper settings, etc).
