That is lovely to play i just sailed through , i think i must have played that one at school on the recorder it just felt like second nature. Just what the heart needed i was struggling to find something that really grabbed me today . Thanks for sharing this.

Poor Petzold, even though the minuet in G was finally recognized as his, it will always have to be remembered by the person of Bach. How many other works are not in this same situation? Toccata and Fugue in D perhaps? 😁

I know, crazy. Apparently, he composed a range of other pieces. The story does make me wonder how many pieces are "borrowed" from other composers.

I also love Irish music. I had not tried tunes from many other genres until some folks encouraged me to do so.
