Erin is physically, emotionally and spiritually adorable. When you ad the baby racoon, the cuteness becomes mega dense. This video is a neutron star of cuteness. I think it is wonderful beyond words that Erin helps these small, abandoned animals. God bless you Erin. You are a wonderful person. Thank you for reminding us that there are still beautiful hearts in this dark world.🙂

Very cute. Be careful around the kitchen. When I was a child in the farm we had a pet raccoon Bandit. One day my grandmother was in the kitchen cooking. During dinner pop asked where was Bandit because he would try to get on the table and eat. My brother got up to look for him and he was no where to be found. While my grandmother was cleaning up the dishes after dinner she opened to refrigerator to put in left overs and in the bottom was Bandit eating peas out of a bowl. That rascal was into everything all the time. We had to banish him to the outdoors. After a couple of months he returned to the wild and left us with a lot of fun memories. 😀

Erin: It is people like you who make the world a better place. Kindness and compassion are, in my opinion, dying character traits. Thank you so much for adding so much "good" to the world. I recently found your channel and find it so interesting. Clearly you work quite hard on the family farm and as a plus find the time to care for orphaned critters, bake yummy food and teach an older guy like me how to braid hair. Too many people take farming for granted . Where would we be without farmers? I imagine that the decision to go into livestock vs crops is in large part based on the type of farming your family is involved in. It seems to be passed from generation to generation. Good old fashioned "get your hands dirty" work. Living on just 10 acres I have found a deep appreciation for all things nature, be it my alpacas, hummingbirds or preying mantids. so much natural beauty in the world to offset the ever present evil. People need to get off the video games, turn off the television and take a long walk with their eyes OPEN. So much to discover. Keep up the good work. NowI don't know if there is a heaven but if there is I believe from what you have demonstrated in your videos you have earned a first class ticket to heaven when that day comes ( and hopefully not any time soon).

What a beautiful little raccoon. I almost had one at work a long time ago. It fell out of the roof on a tarp because of a fire in the roof. I was going to get some milk off the lunch truck to feed it but I thought, maybe mom’s looking for it. So I took it to the back of the yard, by our barrels, and placed it on the rock and within’ a half hour, it was gone. I just hope it was the mom that came and got it and not a large hungry sewer rat. The raccoons eyes weren’t even open yet but it was a real cryer too, just like yours. Erin, you should check out one of my fellow Canadian’s channel “James Blackwood - Raccoon Whisperer”. He most always has about 20 of them up on his deck and he feeds them hotdogs, cookies and whatever else. A little while ago, he had a black bear up on his deck, eating all the raccoons cookies😁

I think it is very apparent that Erin knows what she is doing especially since she raddled off how many she has raised. Why is it you just can’t help yourself from adding your two cents?! Is it you just feel the need to show off your knowledge? Are you hoping for attention? Guys like you you are so exasperating, always having to force your help on people who don’t ask for it🙄 just stop, you won’t look like such a doucè bag once you stop doing that...
@CGT803 жыл бұрын
@@hubes96 The only douche bag is you! You also don't comprehend English.......He never told her what to do, but said he would check for mites. A single short sentence set you off? You would think they gave a dollar's worth of advice. To top that off, you seem to be able to think from only one point of view and act as if the only person who may benefit from reading comments is the video creator. Did you ever stop to think that a person reading just might find themselves in a similar position, or that they found the video after picking up a wild animal, and they might just use the advice and help their own situation? A smart person tries not to assume anything and learns from multiple sources. Some people care enough to share what might be useful to others. How did he FORCE his help? Maybe you should look up the word "comments" in a dictionary and see how broad it is. Just about anything qualifies as a comment.....After all, they let morons like you post as well!

Erin, great job on rescuing Daryl Sue (Johnny Cash would approve) and, hopefully, raising him to be able to survive on his own. Obviously, you have experience to get to that goal. I'm just wondering if perhaps raccoons need "burped"? Partially because it spit up milk, perhaps because of air in tummy made me think that might be an issue.. Partially because it's whiney and active. Now, how a person goes about burping a raccoon....? 🤔🤗😂🦝 The second idea I had is if the old trick for kittens or pups to have some sounds playing to soothe them for sleeping. Large ticking clocks used to work but don't know if you could find one today that's makes ticking noise. Or, a possibility would be a recording of sounds of raccoons chattering. KZbin has some such as the one below. An alternative would be for you to record when you are playing with and feeding him as then he'd hear you. Then play that back at night. Of course, the fact they are mostly nocturnal means it's normal for them.to be noisy.or active then. In any case, fantastic job to take on the responsibility for him. Looking forward to future videos of"The Saga Of Daryl Sue"! Dave kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHW7hIKrgJuCn6s

None have hung around for more than 9-11 months. We live in the country so they come and go as they please once they can care for themselves. Good luck and enjoy. They are a tremendous amount of work but definitely worth it.
