The selection of the facial expressions for the voice-only lives is all Kit AKA Insomicsy. She is an extremely talented editor (as you know well by now), but also a devoted InSomnia who actually listens to and watches all the lives and curates them for the rest of us in the fandom who may not have the time. Kit is a treasure. She has been to a fan-sign in Seoul (visiting from her home in Malaysia), and SuA definitely knew her work when she got to her part of the table. I've always felt that DCC should do something special for her.

I think these get funnier as time goes on because the girls just become more and more uninhibited. At first, it was just harmless mistakes, but then it got just more and more unhinged as they lost the filter 😂

Not gonna lie, the first time we read through your comment we read it as "...because the girls just become more and more UNHINGED." 🤭😆 And then you said that "...it got just more and more unhinged..." and we died 🤣🤣 Somehow, we can't help thinking that Dreamcatcher would approve!

The ears are not quite lie detectors; they react to the brain waves and, according to necomimi, who manufactures them (or at least a similar product), they detect three states: concentration, relaxation and "zone" (both concentration and relaxation at the same time). In practice, high emotions trigger ear movement, but it does not have to be due to a lie. Embarrasment, interest, attraction... all of those can make the ears move. About the feet, AFAIK foot soles are considered dirty, and showing or pointing your soles to other people is seen as rude.

Korean cable is wild. If you travel there and put on the tv you're more likely to see some unhinged nsfw stuff than normal shows so you have to block channels often. The turtle thing started because Siyeon was trying to imitate her baby niece and ended up sounding more like the mating turtle clip.

​@@hallyureviewsus I'm guessing Siyeon and Yoohyeon were already playing around with the turtle mating sounds because Siyeon does a lot of mimicry. Yoohyeon even mentions in the clip that she asks Siyeon to make that noise a lot and Siyeon already knew what Yoohyeon meant when she didn't even mention a turtle as to what it sounded like. I think it was just that a baby's babbling does indeed sound like a turtle mating (plus the video went viral a few times so most people already knew about it). I do think it wouldn't have blown up as a dc joke had Siyeon not brought up the connection directly.

​​@@hallyureviewsusoh the wavelength thing works so well with Siyeon and Dami specifically. It's even funnier because Yoohyeon and Dami who are best friends are usually on opposing wavelengths (which makes them such a fun duo). They were doing the food mbti and mentioned how their mbtis were incompatible and then immediately did synchronized finger guns at each other from opposite sides of the couch. Another when Siyeon bust an egg on accident and both immediately lost it and another incident when Dami dropped a mic just as sad music started playing and both of them fell over laughing. For that matter Siyeon and Yoohyeon are also on a similar wavelength and can somehow communicate just by making faces at each other. Although I'm probably biased since sidayoo are my favorite trio.
