Would be cool if this could start to predict what a fix would cost to avoid being overcharged. Likely wouldn’t be possible for every code, but some are very straight forward. The price of parts are widely available online the only tricky data to get would be labor guides per manufacturer. Overall very cool though, does DIMO do live engine data as well?

That's why they have in the app my mechanic where you can talk to the mechanic that gives you a prices how much it cost the app also shows a comparison how much it would cost with dealership and other shops. They also allow you to use your own part if you choose to and tell you all the parts you need if you decide to do so.
