INTRODUCING EXO TECHNOLOGY

EXO Technology encompasses Spyder's two new proprietary fabric technologies, EXO Shield and EXO Thermo. EXO Shield is Spyder's new outer face fabric and the inner waterproof membrane, whereas EXO Thermo is the interior lining. both have the intended purpose to keep active winter enthusiasts as warm and dry as possible.
The development of EXO Technology came from the need to have increased supply chain control for improved product sustainability. By creating EXO, we now have more freedom of design with our products and can offer a wider range of products that are fit for purpose and activity level.
EXO Shield + Dermizax™ is a combination of Spyder's new proprietary face fabric technology blended with Dermizax's inner laminate. By leveraging this partnership to create a wide range of winter 2022 products, we have more freedom of design with our products and can offer a wider range of products that are fit for purpose and activity level. Torray, creators of Dermizax™, has been making waterproof and breathable product since 1979, one year after the founding of Spyder. We have seen incredible success and product resiliency in hundreds of products throughout the years with Torray, and they continue to be a trusted partner in garment creation.
EXO Thermo + Graphene is a visible technology that utilizes graphene, which is a thin carbon material, printed on the interior of garments. The continuity of the printing allows it to transport heat from warmer areas to cooler areas to create improved warmth equilibrium. Spyder created the hexagonal print as an efficient way to 'spider web' the heat from areas on your body that are typically warmer to areas that typically need more thermal energy. A major benefit of using a print is the overall application can be applied to nearly any garment.
