Thanks for covering Fear Factory. The kids need to know about this often overlooked legendary band. I have a feeling that your channel speaks to a more younger audience than many other Metal news outlets out there. I know from experience that FF often gets overlooked and forgot about when talking about the great wave of bands from the 90's and early 2000's. But they have one of the stronger catalogues from all those bands that emerged over that period of time in my opinion. And the more people that gets to hear about FF the better!

I'm so glad I bought my tix early for this tour! Also, wondering why his band Dead Channel was not mentioned. It's this band that I even know who this guy is. I first heard them on internet radio and I was like "These dudes kinda have a FF sound and they kick-ass!" Go check out Dead Channel if you haven't already. You will definitely hear Milo's talents and I hope he continues that band and they get big too much like Corey Taylor did with Stone Sour.

Nah. Sorry. No band is ever just one or two main members as "the band". Not even a band like The Cure, where Robert Smith is the main guy, but the brilliance of their best work came about not because of that one person, but because of the other members. Fear Factory, for their best work that everyone knows them for, was Burton, Dino, Raymond and Christian. However, the period when Dino left the band, Archetype is one of my all time fav albums. So if anything, I would say Dino is the one part you COULD take out of fear factory, because it happened and it still remained Fear Factory to anyone with ears and a heart. Anyone can do downtuned chugga guitars. No one can get that sound that Burton had, the lyricism and the themes he wove in. That's what made the band the band. Raymond's desire to get Depeche Mode and industrial and electronic etc. Dino is the reason the band went to shit and became more generic chugga metal. When Burton did Ascension of the Watchers it basically confirmed he was the crucial part of fear factory that I actually like and was the seasoning on the whole sauce. New guy, don't care. You can sing in whatever perfect pitch you want, it doesn't matter. The soul isn't in the machine.
