The ‘violin’ is actually called a kobyz. Two strings only. Dimash often uses traditional instruments in his music. Dimash himself, plays seven instruments including the traditional dombra.

Olhzhas Qurmenbek is the Kasakh musician who plays the KOBYZ, a typical Kasakh instrument. Dimash performs this magnificent piece together with the choir and orchestra!!!
