This was his prime. One year after I graduated high school, roughly a year after Vauxhall and I released, and right about the time World of Morrissey came out. It seems like yesterday.....his voice was so perfect during this era. And I moped through life with him as my soundtrack. He still is, albeit not to the fanatical extreme as it used to be. The brooding angst has leveled off, the gray hairs have begun to make their advance, the fatigue of age has begun to set in.....but when I close my eyes....I can go tight back to that time...and both of us are still there....walking the streets, side by side, with incredible style

The early 90's were truly a genuine era. It seems the best of the 80's in my opinion were still there to enjoy during that period of time where here in the states Grunge was all the rave, but I could care less. I gather I graduated a mere year prior to you and when age sets in, it does kick your @ss !

As someone said before, this is the prime of Morrissey. I started listening to him around 97 and saw him live in Portugal for the first time in 1999 - he still had a bit of shyness but at the same time he was more mature and seemed happy, balanced. This is the Morrissey that marked me and saved me from my terrible teens. It's incredible seeing this concert now in 2021, how the audience would go on stage but it was civilised and mutually respectful. Amazing.

God i love him, i wish i had a chance to see him live during this era, sadly i hadn't even been born yet! I don't think any artist could ever replicate what he did in his career, especially around this time period which is when i think he was at his best. Forever my favourite artist, and just one of my favourite people in general. The ending of this video when "Will never marry" was playing with the compilation of all the fans running up on stage hugging and kissing Morrissey, man that was a really heart warming sight, something about that is really beautiful to me and i can't quite put my finger on why, a rare sight of people coming together in such a beautiful way i suppose, no man can bring such wonderful displays of affection out of people other than him.

Not only was I at the winter Gardens show but I am also immortal as the first to hug Morrissey in the montage. I've seen him many times but this one was special. I also got a scrap of his shirt (a retro Blackburn rovers shirt) as it was rorn apart by the crowd. I loved him then and I love him now. I am still devout.

As a 14 year old I travelled with my football team Feyenoord to see them play against Tottenham. During the same trip I went to Small Wonder Records and saw QPR-Liverpool. London was exciting and all the best bands seemed to come from the UK. Now I wouldn't go to London if they payed me and I can't name a decent new British band. I'm glad I was around to see and hear some of the greats like this man☝️

Cant imagine Morrissey playing The Smiths in this era of Morrissey's Boy Racer, Boxing Lad, Nightclub owner get-up. But Shoplifters makes sense. Wish they had it recorded it in this edit.

When I found out my 12 friends who LOVED the Smiths, Cure, U2, stopped listening to their new music after 90 and no Morrissey solo?... I was so disappointed for them..truly truly...they went Guns and Roses, I stayed with the bands that were small from the 80s that would be super bands of the 90s...over 8 of them
