How does timewarp work in this?

When you timewarp you basically create your own timeline where you cant interact with other people. Players can then synchronise to your timeline and then you can interact with them. Its tricky to explain, so why dont you try it out 😁

AFAIK the host cannot see your IP

You shouldn't be afraid either way, it's only your approximate location. Restart your router and you get a new IP anyway.

As long as it can run KSP, you can join. Just be sure you are not using any part mods
