Loop is, I think, the best way to introduce non-beatboxers to beatbox. Most loops, Show-Go, Den, Inertia, Codfish and Hiss are pretty great entry points imo.

Also, in my opinion, his rounds were amazing, but I didn't like them that much. After "All the moments we had", which is a masterpiece, all the rest seemed so "average". His most recent release (round 2 final) was kind of let down against Hiss. I mean its still incredible but it lacked his melodic structure and pacing. He may have beaten Hiss in round one but round 2 he lost by a good margin. Especially since Hiss turned his dis into a highlight and Den didn't do anything as a real counter for round 2. I'm a huge Den and D-Low fan and was cheering for Den but I think he slipped up. He mainly used his wildcard in the BBU and it may have cost him :(

Hiss has amazing talent too but I've never been a fan of the pop sounding beatbox. I mean hell, I'm Korean but I seldom care for any of the Korean beatboxers because they gravitate to the pop sound and it's just not my style. The one thing I do love is that beatbox has evolved so much and has gain popularity on an epic scale, that there's pretty much defined "genres" of beatbox now.

@@jeannietapner5016 Yeah, I honestly don’t know what he’s saying because his English pronunciation isn’t the best but I’m 99% sure that’s not what he’s saying there. I tried looking a bunch of stuff up that might make sense of that lyric, but didn’t find any. The lyrics shown on the video are autogenerated and only show what a computer program believes him to be saying (like how in the choruses the CCs read “you go” instead of what is actually being said “you’re gone”). It makes much more sense to me that he’s saying “you’re gone” again instead of “your gun…” followed by some other words we can only guess as listeners. I looked for official lyrics but never found any and don’t know if he’s ever even written down lyrics online anyways.
