Have you tried it with both blue goals going clockwise and both orange going counter clockwise? To me that seems more interesting and more similar to actual tetherball. Teams will be trying to keep it going in their scoring direction as much as possible. Its amazing as is though too!

I've been thinking if it's possible to make the heatseeker ball "heavier". I mean, when it hits the player it would really bump the player. Not much, but still very noticeably. I mean, the effect is already there, can you just crank it up =)

Something that would be interesting for sure would be if you could make it so that as the ball wraps around the center it pulls closer and gets faster. Once it’s wrapped so many times going one way you score! Just a thought 💭

Leth, I really think you just broke through the barrier, and created the first actually potential 4v4 competitive game type. There's enough space for 8 players, the ball moves quick enough that no one playing or viewing is bored. And there's tons of room for fancy plays and strats.. congrats man!!

Only thing id say from a lower level perpective is maybe make the goal exteded outwards a bit? It seems the curve really keeps it just short of the goal. I agree with everyone else that suggests Psy needs to hire you. You clearly love this game and pump tons of of your free time into it. Plus you have a background in Engineering (I think I heard in one of your vids). Even if you lack a lot of the experience in an engineering role a lot of teams have have TPO or Product Owner where you can help manage the lifecycle of whatever features/product your team owns. Some TPOs get good engineering experience too if they help with operations and grab some of the low hanging fruit.

The change I would make to it is put the goals back to back similar to the round labs map. That way you get directionality to the owner of the ball. Little closer to actual tetherball. This is more a vertical version or regular heatseeker.

Should make it so that the more times it wraps around the middle pillar, the faster it gets and the less it pulls towards the middle. You can split the middle pillar into sections and light up the sections from top to bottom to show how many times the ball has wrapped around. If the ball starts going in the opposite direction, you can make the lights turn off and the ball will slow down. If you split the map in half (orange and blue side) those can be the lines for how to tell how many times the ball has wrapped around. Just an idea.

Think it would be a cool idea to do your circle floating goals in between wall and center. Might make it a bit easier to score, and definitely lead to more interesting plays.

3 reasons why rocket league should add this: 1: There is less time to get a demolition, therefore solving that problem. 2: This mode helps you practice ariels, making this a good game mode and practice mode. 3: it takes the mode that everyone loves even though it is gone, and puts it in a different perspective if this is a good thought like it so lets can see and ask psyonix and epic to make it a thing
