@Lethamyr Yo Leth I got a Dropshot idea!! It’s called Dropshot - Inversion Mode Same basic rules where you have to break the ground to score the ball but it differs in terms of what your car can drive on. It would be inverted. So basically you fall through solid ground and half broken ground but can use the broken ground as a sort of glass platform. The more platform you have, the easier to block but the more platform you have, the easier it is for the other team to score. Not sure if this idea is possible but it would make for a very entertaining game mode, using the walls and such until you can actually be on the ground at the expense of having more exposed ground space. I think it would work best in a map that is smaller like the one for this video and maybe unlimited boost so that it isn’t impossible to block from the walls and stuff!

The too sides were split and sealing the gap with the wall was probably hard. Idk, I think it was more interesting without the wall too. Opens more strategies, and depth in a game is always better.

@@Lethamyr no hate and I don't have any experience with this. I think you should have it where if the ball is on one side for too long, the players lose the ability to hit the ball and the ball losses it's bounce. Well at least until it Crosses the other then side the time resets.

Dude, I have literally been messing around in blender trying to make dropshot volleyball for the past week and a half. How long did it take you, I'm guessing a couple hours... And then, on top of that you make a freaking clock tower map with moving gears in a day 😂😂😂

Leth, if you were to do a game where players couldn't cross midfield, you could make the ball damage the floor regardless of what color it is. That way, there would still be a need to keep the ball in the air or to make sure it lands softly so the floor doesnt take damage.

Leth, love the volleyball map, but as an avid volleyball player I'd love to see a map/gamestyle that has more volleyball rules. The volleyball map is technichically more like wallyball. Proposition is this: 6 v 6 on the traditional volleyball map but each team can only touch it 3 times and no double touches.

Turn off ball gravity, have an invisible wall in the middle like narrow heatseeker, and make ALL surfaces dropshot grids. The difficulty of hitting the ball with muscle memory kicking in, plus the chaos of being able to score literally anywhere. I can only imagine the own goals.

Not sure if you'd want to make basically the same map twice, but add the wall that seperates both sides, and have one player from both teams spawn on each half. So in 2v2 the team would be split half between both sides.

I hope this gets added as a 10 min mode. 15 if halves are separated and plunge gets altered. Like if connected by plunge or mag it wont cross the center if your on the opposite side. Or doesnt work in areas you cant be. So you dont plunge or magnet to your own goal. As if there is a real wall between you.(you can only use on it in your area) although people could just learn better uses but that ruins it for the bots like me. That usually screw up. As default no rumble it's a fun idea that needs a goals point like heat seeker so you dont sit there. Ps: maybe an idea. Try a heat seeker horse shoe shaped or boomerang(to the side or up)with a 1 impact version of dropshot.( to the side will probably be easier but your to good so up maybe funnier for content. Edit: just wanted to thank you for the awesome video. Somehow I almost always have fun. That impossible shot freestyle one... i hurt just watching it... I'd prolly just quit the game if completion of that was required to play. Competitive or not. 2nd edit.(sorry) it's the rl version of closing time by semisonic. Cant stay here... lol

dropshot is truly a great and underrated mode because you have to have people you can depend on because i've played a few matches where i've had 1 person who was just hitting the ball no matter where it went and let's say it did not go well

I feel like there could be a wall that doesn’t let you pass if there’s only a certain amount of hits allowed like in real volleyball. For example, if a player scores and tries to keep the ball on their side for the rest of the game they can only hit it 3,5,7,etc. times before hitting back over and if they don’t the game will pause and a point will be give to the other team and the kickoff will start. Although this also means there would have to be a fifth person that isn’t playing as host so it can be fair (A dribble can count as one hit per however many seconds you decide. It really depends on how many hits each side gets but I think a solid number of seconds can be 3)

This map is just dropshot but harder for counter play. Leth should design the map to be way smaller and the cars can't cross the net. Also no dropshot tiles, if the ball touches the floor it's a point.

Gentleman’s rules: you can only touch the ball on the opponent’s side if you have not touched the ground on their side. So aerials and wall play until you touch the ground and then you have to go back to your side before you can hit the ball again

Maybe to make it less like typical dropshot, you can incorporate the mode where your car can fall through the floor? If there's a way to have each team fall in the others floor, then it would allow them to stay on the wall but not drive around like normal.... :)

Should make a "rule" that you are not allowed to drive on the walls/roof/ground of the opponents field. You are however allowed to fly over from your own half. But if you hit the ball or miss, you need to head back to your half before touching the ball again. Start from 5 goals each, go to 11. If an obvious rulebreak is made a goal is deducted.
