Wonderful, I just wish they would do more updates for the beat makers, like update Impact XT, Sample One, update the synth plugins or something. We should at least be able to do simple things like change the pitch to a hi hats in pattern mode. The pattern mode is awesome but it can be better.

Incredible, thanks for making studio one, one of the best daws out there. Some suggestions, we need an "sketch" version of pro tools but for studio one, new synths and sound design tools. A bigger master fader as in cubase. Pre gain and Post gain metering in every plugin as in Ableton Live, and to have absolutely all the features of notion within studio one without having to use notion, which is a software that has been neglected and has no longer been updated recently.

Can anyone tell me if Studio One has a Midi Event Editor. I often find myself needing to take out events from midi files like panning or Volume or patch changes. I cant find reference to one in what I have read.

Can't agree more. During the pandemic I decided to return to composing... with an older computer. PreSonus was the ONLY company who's DAW went back with a 12 year old OS. I was forever grateful. I since upgraded and it's just getting better and better. I KNEW they would keep pushing. ATMOS is the real game changer now. Soon enough, we may be seeing guys like Hans Zimmer (Cubase) and many others making the switch. And they should.

I downloaded the demo so I can test the atmos implementation, I put insight on the master channel in the post insert section, but the meters aren't matching the lufs and true peak on the renderer. can you please explain the signal flow of the renderer for me? I want to meter post renderer so the "Objects" are taken into account. Also how would I integrate sonarworks with the renderer?

What's the difference between the surround and the object panner? I like more the sound of the surround panner but if I deliver a Atmos product using only that, there is no problem? Or do I need to use Objetcs for everything?

Dang - gotta admit I didn't see this coming. When 6.0 came out and was still stereo-only, I figured surround was going to be the killer feature for 7.0. Getting all this, including full Atmos support, in a point release? Color me impressed. Honestly 6.5 feels like a bigger upgrade from 6.0 than 6.0 did from 5.5. And oh by the way, Linux support too?! Amazing.

Thanks PreSonus! ❤ I've been testing the update since it's announcement. You fixed some bugs that where introduced in 6.1, but there is one that is still here in 6.5: Some points can't be modified or deleted in the timeline. Hope that can be fixed in the next update! Everything else is working great so far! the new features are awesome! 🔥 And looking better too, I don't know what it is, but in general the UI looks nice! Big thank you for your great work on this!

Really cool. Why are you waiting to create a freeze function though? We always run out of CPU, we need a simple, quick and easy freeze function, especially for the busses. Most of the processing is on the busses and I don't wanna mixdown the freaking bus and create a new audio track all the time, and hide the buss track, and all that crap. And...NO, there isn't currently a substitute for the freeze function in studio one, don't tell me you can do it that way or that other way. Not true! That's an essential feature that's missing, and the atmos thing is only going to make it worse cause we will run out of CPU much faster. It's in the top 3 most requested feature in the presonus forum, please stop waiting on that, make it!
