i decided to try bow hunting. went to into an archery shop today only knowing 4 brands from a quick internet search. didnt read up on anything so i wouldnt have a biased opinion. Was able to get my hands on 3 of the 4 brands throughout the various price ranges of bows and shot for the first time! Not knowing anything else about bows/archery, the Vertix just felt right and i kept going back to it. Lets just say yall have a new customer

I recently purchased a Vertix and i have it set at a 75 pound draw weight with 29 inch draw length and it shoots so damn fast it’s unreal
@outdoorfamilytraditions93526 жыл бұрын
Alek Vallejos how is drawing it back? I also ordered mine at 75 lbs and I’m a 29.5” draw length?? Some people are saying it’s a hard puller and others say it’s smooth as can be. Thanks

Alek Vallejos just bought mine yesterday, and I’m running the exact same setup! Such a smooth and fast bow

The most difficult thing is giving up the old Mathews for the new. When you kill a state record bull or world class buck that old bow means something....the new one has to earn your respect before you will chance it to a hunt.

I shot the Vertix last night I don’t like the new rest idea yet, and I shot the triax side by side with it The vertix is sweet I agree and I have been googling “new Mathews bow “ for 2 weeks 8-10 times a day like a kid haha, but the triax feels less vibration and soooo quiet. I shoot 70 lbs 30” draw and the triax is just as easy as the vertix. Anyone who talks about string angle hasn’t shot it. I also don’t shoot as much as some people do, but am punching x’s with it at 20 off the bat My 2017 Hoyt Carbon Defiant in busckskin is getting traded in today As well as my brothers hyper force, and my brother in-laws powermax 3 new triax bows will come home with us this evening 😉 I don’t want black or the new camo so I’ll revisit the vertix purchase when more colors come into the shop!

I’m researching for a new bow, and looked into how much changing my draw weight would be in the future, but can’t find anything on line.

Ordered one today along with a tx5 for my misses can't wait got the drop away and the quiver from Mathews also can not wait to hunt these bows shot them both today and they are both super dead in the hand and ultra fast it was a pleasure to shoot them now the waiting game
@renshawgamesxx90046 жыл бұрын
Fascinating with the draw weight changing modules... It makes me wonder if they will also change the tunability of the bow however and that there will end up being a sweet spot mod. I imagine they had that in mind when going through with the new design. Regardless, very cool new bow!

Might have to trade my halon 32 in for one of these bad boys... As always great job guys!

Awesome bow. Mathews has impressed me yet again. I can’t wait to learn more about it and eventually shoot it. For three years in a row (Halon, Halon 32 & Triax) I have bought a Mathews and loved each bow. After buying the Hoyt Nitrum I wasn’t impressed afterwards by anything Hoyt introduced when compared to Mathews. Now that Hoyt is using carbon fiber risers on their top of the line bows I would never even consider Hoyt.

And for only $1100 you can have a bow with no accessories and have to drop even more money but wait after that you have put even more money into it so it can be set up for you but wait why not throw in some new arrows have them cut to length and set up just to use it during deer season the average hunter cant afford shit like this!!!!!
@Tatorhead12346 жыл бұрын
Then go buy a diamond or something else. That's like me complaining to Lamborghini that the average driver cant afford their vehicles.
@curtisjoe246 жыл бұрын
Or you could do what I do. Put $10 a week back and at the end of the year sell your current bow then go buy whatever bow you desire.
@gregoryhunts30066 жыл бұрын
I will never shoot anything but a PSE. Matthew's are overpriced and the accessories are ridiculously priced. Why would anyone spend 1000 dollars on a bow and even more to set it all up just to shoot an animal. Just a waste of money. My 350 dollar fully set up pse is driving tacks out to 60 yards. Matthew's is a waste of money
@Tatorhead12346 жыл бұрын
So why are you watching Mathews videos if you dont care to ever shoot one?
