They were not a failure by any regard, they were very good helper engines. They did exactly what they were designed for. A slow shove 15 miles up a mountain.

Nope, it’s not a joke!!! These images were leaked from a dealer, was shared online by a model train dealer in NY!

It looks so good! If I had the money to get one of these, it would be the 2603 Matt H. Shay. I do hope that Lionel does make HO Versions of the Triplex. After all, they did acquire the O Scale Tooling from MTH.

Actually $2,499.99 for the engines and $3,999.99 for the set. Good Lionel dealers should have a pretty good discount for order though!

I hope they don't use the whistle that was in the demo. it's the same sound set as whats in the 1218 VL.. Kind of disappointing

Save your money....the old MTH one is BETTER. Lionel's QC has slipped, they won';t fix defective products, either....and their customer service stinks.....
