Such an amazing car. I had a 1967 Camaro SS/RS as my first car, 71 Chevelle after in the mid 90s in high school. Had a C4 corvette after that which I learned to drive manual on, followed by a C5 Corvette z06. An 07 STI afterwards when my dad had a C6 z06 (he worked for GM for almost 50 years), then had a 2012 SS/RS Camaro which I still have (699 whp manual ls3). This is exactly what Zora wanted, my mom had a 1967 427 manual red corvette coupe, she gets so mad when we watch auctions and she sees what her car is selling for now lol. This new ZR1 is incredible

The fact they didn't go piddley little turbos and keep it around 6-700 like Ferrari and most other brands in the same veign of car is amazing. As soon as you said TT, I was like wtf, how much power is this thing gonna make, i was hoping at least 800... But over 1k is nuts, and exactly the right move on GMs part to keep maximum hype around this new gen of corvette!

She definitely earned everything she has. She may be an attractive individual which doesn't hurt, but if she didn't know her stuff and wasn't immensely talented at working on these cars, she wouldn't be anywhere close to where she is... I don't care to watch the videos of "rich guys" driving their expensive cars and complaining about cops or other first world problems of driving or renting expensive cars on nice streats with cops, functional financing, excited onlookers and other stupid drivers... She is doing stuff no one else has done and works on tons of different brands. Not a one trick pony ( speaking of pony's, working on a mustang would be really cool too) I'm sure she has help, but doesn't everyone? She surrounds herself with people who help her with great scripting that is informative and captivating at the same time. She legit knows what she is doing. It's always something new and pushing boundaries which is hard to find on youtube. Props to you Emelia!

Well said she is a very good person and the fact that she turns a wrench herself and if she doesn't know how to do something she doesn't want someone to do it for her she wants them to show her how to do it also she does things for the people who have been working with her and I remember her giving one of the guys a truck and she purchased a reliable car for one of the guys that works with her because he had to drive like a hour and half to get to the shop and the car he was driving was getting to be not so reliable and when she came out about her having very bad depression is when I became a fan of hers she is very down to earth and loves cars and treats everyone with respect I was excited when I found out the movie she was filming a little while back was Grand Turismo I was hoping she had a decent part in the movie and not just one or two scenes and she did a great job in the movie

@@AarmOZ84 I'm gonna comment again, we were offered an allocation for a new one not me my father we have a some old vettes 53,54,57,63,67,73 99,06, my dad said the dealer called him on he thought July 19-22 couldn't really remember our Chevrolet dealer isn't big but not small they got 5 allocations in which was 2 base models, 3 z06 and 0 zr1 vettes, base price was starting at $189,000 and up depending on options, and not 1 dealer got more then 2 allocated in the initial run of zr1's so with that being said my previous answer of $289,000 was about right it's like the old zr1 vette just the engine upgrade was 35k or 40k over base vette something like that to get zr1 inflation it will be at least 100k over, and really sky is the limit on price if you have money and really want one who is to say someone won't pay $350k or $400k, before u call me nuts I was at the auction when the first Toyota Supra was auctioned off #1 of assembly line it went $2.1 million shocked everyone so if u got the money and u want one sky is the limit

3:00 Don't use credit cards to buy the stuff you don't need. Use 1 credit card to pay for groceries, gasoline for your car, your normal going out to eat. Just the normal stuff you would normally do. Then, around this time of the month, PAY IT OFF! Don't pay the minimum payment, that's how you mess up. Pay the entire balance. Check it your balance a few days later, sometimes something doesn't get charged. THEN, if you have another card, use that one and put the 1st one away until its next turn. This is how you build credit. Run up ONLY what you CAN PAY OFF at the end of the month. They see you using their card and paying it off. You can watch your credit score get higher every month. The key is to pay early and completely. I bought a house last year and a new car 2 years ago. My credit score is over 750. I did lose a bunch buying a house which didn't make sense to me, but I got the house, so who cares. 6.1% interest rate last year.

Better to only use 20-30% of your cards limits too & then pay it off. Shows your not desperate for money. And to help get approved for car/home loans.. You can take out a loan for 4-5k out of your own cash. A secured loan. Cause credit score isnt just about the number, but its also weighted based on how much $ youve borrowed before. A 750 from a few grand in cards, isnt viewed as good as a 750 after paying off a 10-25k car note👍

I’d be so happy with a stock Z06. I love the wider rear fenders/wheels, the Ferrari-esque engine, gorgeous, well appointed interior, drop dead good looks. The ZR1 also looks so cool with all the scoops and vents, aero parts. I’d get hurt in that car. It’s too fast. I can’t wait to see the ZR2 beat the crap outta the foreign snobs! GM did it before they released the Z06, in one of the videos the engineer admits the cut away engine for the Z06 specifically had the provisions for the twin turbos cut out to not give away the ZR1

I like black wheels,,,up close but you CAN'T see them, at any distance they're indistinguishable, you can't see their design, for me,,,kinda pointless. Yeah, matt BATMAN BLACK with matt grey highlights or even yellow on the front splitter, sideskirts, side vent trims and wing, not too much or to thick and the a black interior with yellow stitching and accents, again not too much. OMG THAT'D BE GORGEOUS. Funny how small details can make a huge difference, and I'm talking about the the different side pieces on that big wing, gives the car a more distinctive look than the one on the Z06 which is basically the same except for that one little detail. That makes ALL the different in how it looks.

GM still should have left the the corvette the way it was Anne ponied up and made the ZR1 (or something similar) a supercar brand on its own. Because this is still just a sports car, we never dubbed the he Demon or Redeye or any other variant a super car because of its factory high horsepower so the Vette is still just an Vette lol
