It's a great light but bottle Bluetooth never worked for me. I tried resetting it a bunch of times and it never even appeared to be discovered either by my phone and or laptop. They both have Bluetooth 5.0.

Is there an alternative to that NPF plate that accepts v-mount or gold mount batteries? Sometimes I want a lower powered, small, affordable light like this but still want to use my big batteries and that v mount handle seems like a less ergonomic shape than the battery plate.

The NPF plate mounts to the light via the V-mount. So V-mount batteries will connect without the use of an adapter plate - you just need a D-tap to DC cable.

Thanks 💛. Is 60d is a convenient choice for online teaching at a computer? Or it is too bright and a daylight temperature is not ideal for long daily usage. I am looking a key light for lightning my computer place.

You would likely want a softbox, but I think it could be great for that. I'm a teacher as well and currently use an aputure led panel light with their EZ box attachment and it works great, that also came with a remote I keep at desk to turn on off and dim. But ya a solid light, you could keep it further away and turn it up a bit or keep it close and just dim it down. Will definitely want a softbox which can take a bit of room though, the led panel style has much more compact diffusers. Pc60c I think the model is, and you way even get by with like an al-mx which is a tiny portable ligjt that also gets very bright. Lots of good options I think depending on your space and style of vids

Any V-mount battery with D-Tap that outputs 12~16.8V will work. In some of the shots we used a Dynacore DPM-98S Tiny.
