Dark colors and black will heat up fast in the sun and is 10 times hotter than a white or light shirt. Great review and amazing brake testing.

This was cool for you. Lectric doesn't like me very much. I kept having issues with my rear spokes snapping and they've sent me 4 replacement wheels, 2 outside of the warranty. You have to remember my xp 2.0 has dual motors so it shouldn't have a torque breaking issue and the majority of the spokes were breaking on the brake side of the wheel. Not to mention the fact that my battery stopped discharging after less than 2 years. It still charges though. Since it was out of warranty I opened it up and there were no loose connections. The last 2 wheels they sent me, the rim seals weren't completely closed, I can shine a light through the seams. I like their frames just not their components.

The 2 bikes I rode seemed to be pretty well built. I also have a Lectric ONE that I really like and have about 100 miles on so far without issues. Can't speak to the other models.

Great review! Vintage Chit humor. Truly the first cargo bike review I've seen where the reviewer tried to make the cargo bike seem fun and not just practical. Wish I had bought that cargo bike instead of the other one we ended up with! Lectric should keep you on a retainer to promote their chit!

I really enjoy your videos man. Growing up all my teenage to adult years in your neck of the woods makes your hometown area videos special to me. I was so amazed to find that you could ride from Treasure Island to Antioch and beyond. Then for you to actually do that 50 miler. Keep up the good work. Can you ride over the Antioch Bridge or would that be certain death?! We left 18 years ago. Left there when I was 49. We used to ride our ratbike Sportsters over the original Antioch Bridge, you ever see it?

You are allowed to ride a bike over the Antioch bridge, but I haven't done it yet. Kind of scary imo, especially since there is no barrier between you and traffic and those lanes aren't super wide. I was thinking about riding home from Sacramento at some point, but the bridge portion makes me rethink it. I moved to Antioch in 85 I believe, so the original bridge was gone by then. I've only seen it in pictures.

You made Lectric enjoyable 😂 Lectric really does have amazing customer service!!! However, I find their ebikes to have rather poor quality/durability, which I believe outweighs the customer service and low prices combined... and that's not even including the lack of performance capabilities that many desire.
