I really like the one in quilting cotton! Been wanting a dress pattern that looks good with structured fabric as it’s hard for me to find those drapey fabrics here except for polyester, which I prefer not to use. So thank you for this pattern. I’m looking forward to sewing it.

Thanks so much. Very inspired to look out the sew-along! First saw the pattern on Andrea’s channel, Beyond the Pink Door!

Bought the pattern as soon as it was released. Having a bit of a love affair with your patterns at the moment having sewn the wilder gown and sagebrush top this week. Going to get all my supplies this week and join you for the sewalong video next week 😍

Hi hi, just wondering if you could share how much fabric would be required for this blouse hack of the Davenport, size small? It’s too cute 😍

ohhhh what a wonderful summer pattern! Any tips on creating a waterfall hemline w/ that wide ruffle? Or, alternative sleeve hem ideas? Can't wait to make this!!
@FridayPatternCompany3 жыл бұрын
Ooh! A waterfall hem could be gorgeous! I guess you would want to curve the hem on the skirt so its a bit longer in back and shorter in front and then you'll get a bit of that hi-lo effect once the ruffle is sewn on! We do have fun blog content coming soon on some different sleeve hacks!

Love this!!! Don't suppose you have a source for the 'cottage core' quilting cotton you used? I would absolutely love to re-create what you did!

Unfortunately I got it at my local shop that is not online. If you are anywhere near Sacramento its from World Class Textile!

Would it be possible to lower the front neckline at all?
@FridayPatternCompany3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I think that would be a bit difficult because of how the yoke and neckline are shaped.

Beautiful Dress! I love it! I'm wondering if there will be any hacks regarding the neckline? It is so cute but I know I will feel like I'm being choked so I'm just curious. Again, just lovely:)

I don't have any in the works at the moment but a couple people have asked about this so I will try to brainstorm some solutions!
