Mine is now 17 years old it's a 1.4 and still packs a punch for a tired old 128,000 miles I've just got a £2000 give or take £50 quote on a engine rebuild for it once it gets over 20 years old. We have had it 2 years now some odd problems but it's always got us to where we were going without fail.

i have a sap front end i think it made it look amazing and the car is so fun to drive iv had a bmw 135i and it was pushing nearly triple the power and i woulndt want that over the focus

21 year old MK1 Facelift 1.6 still going. looking a bit rough after that time, sure, burns a little oil, sure, lacks some modern features, for the better I might say. I'm having it for over 10 years now, can't complain, while most of the last escorts did not make it 21 years at all. all crumbled to dust

Still looks a cleaner design than anything in Ford Europe's current line-up... though I have always disliked the fussy, inelegant dashboard design of the Mk1 Focus, I must say.
