Introducing the GoodSAM app for WMAS clinicians and CFRs

Clinically trained WMAS staff and volunteers can now register to respond to cardiac arrests in their area using the GoodSAM app! We've been working closely with GoodSAM for several years and have today launched a 6-month pilot scheme.
GoodSAM supports patients who are in a confirmed cardiac arrest by alerting nearby responders via our dispatch system to attend and provide early CPR. We hope that by having more opportunities to provide earlier CPR in the chain of survival, we can save more lives across the West Midlands.
