Introducing the "Gran Turismo 7" Free Update - July 2024

At the ‘Gran Turismo World Series 2024 Round 1 - Montreal’ held in Canada on July 6, 2024 (local time), the contents of the Gran Turismo 7 Update (1.49) released on Thursday, July 25 were revealed.
This video introduces some of the content introduced in this update including a much anticipated new track ‘Eiger Nordwand', 6 additional cars, updated car physics, the inclusion of Michelin tires, a new wheel brand, and additional track compatibility for the next generation racing AI Agent 'Gran Turismo Sophy'.

The fact that GT7 has been out for over 2 years, and we're still getting extremely high quality updates, not just some that add a few cars/bug fixes to say they still support the game, just shows why Gran Turismo is one of the best modern racing games. No game is perfect, but as long as it's enjoyable, that's all that matters.

Hate to break it to you but this is pre-rendered game engine footage. It’s using Ray Tracing at 60fps with custom made tracking cameras in a development version of the game that renders out as a sequence frame by frame

If anyone worried about the prices of those tires, i believe it is because they have shown Japanese version of the game where the prices are adjusted to resemble their own currency so don't worry it will be fine 😎
