I have an idea of why the Spright player went on a Trickstar engine. On top of Light Stage being a good anti-backrow tech, Lilybell and Mandrake are versatile level 2s that can special themselves if added to or discarded from hand respectively. The latter is something I actually experimented with in order to set up a Rank 2 Engine in Labrynth in one of Master Duel's more recent XYZ events. That'll get much more easy to use after the new Labrynth support makes it easier to search Reincarnation for hand ripping after bouncing key main deck monsters, so I don't have to rely on Candina to search it as much and can instead go into Djinn buster or even Spright engine at times.
