Happiest hobbyist on the internet. Thanks to Andy showing how quickly he builds and paints by skipping the primer step helped me speed up my builds tremendously. (I only prime metals and plastics that need to be painted yellow….When my Tamiya nippers give out I will try Andy’s nippers.

Hello Andy- and AHHQ viewers… Love your builds and tutorials Andy- they restarted my model building during the pandemic after a 48-year absence. And I have built Daily for the past 3.5 years! Thank You! I am also a capitalist and and retired senior manager- with a quarter Billion in sales and over 2000 employees spread over 25-years. Watching You GROW your business- and your KZbin channel has been stunning! Phenomenally Well Done- Congratulations! Look- some of you may get “upset” here- Andy, you haven’t Built anything in weeks- or tutorials: just perpetuating infomercials. Business looks excellent! Have you thought about getting some production help Andy for the Channel- as well as the store and warehouse? Team up. Possible team up with a full time builder (“Sprues & Brews”) using your products and OTHER products? I order and buy from you- ha- I WILL BE buying a set of your new Extreme Nippers! The point is here is to Build MORE- or team up with fabulous builders on Your Channel and Cross Content: easy enough with the internet now. Yes it’s Christmas- time to sell- it was always my busiest time of year at as well- and managed to have a life and produce. Hire production people of some kind- your products are good, excellent. Yet- the gist of your business growth and channel growth stems from your builds. Branch out again. Build other stuff than your own- or Das Werk and Border. Or Giant Scale- I can’t be the only one to miss these things. Cheers to You & Yours- and to All of the AHHQ Crew and Fans-

Great additions to your product line Andy! Single blade nippers are a true game changer! Just curious what the recommended limit is for sprue diameter after watching the demonstration on the sprue. The ones that I own are designed for up to 3 mm (about 1/8 inch).

Andy, nice nippers. How long is the sharpness expected to last, and how easy is it to touch up the single edge blade?

Had a set of Godhand SPN 120s. First time using them, wanted to see just out flush they would cut, so cut a parts runner. About the 3rd cut and the cutting side of it broke off. Thankfully where I got them from replaced it (despite Godhand offering no warranty on them). For the price of them, they should be able to withstand cutting a parts runner. I still use them, but only for very fine pieces. The el cheapo set from Trumpter (Master Tools) will do about 80% of what the Godhand ones will do, and if I break them, they aren't that expensive to replace. These look like a happy medium between the high end Godhand, and the low end el cheapo Master Tools

Sometimes it's not so much that the nipper damages the part..it's trying to clean up the part to remove the nub left behind that breakage occurs..so the cleaner cut like the last Nipper shown is going to save the day

Unsure why anyone would buy the "3"s? I suspect shipping to Australia will be dearer than the tool.
@PeterFulford Жыл бұрын
The "3"s are $20 cheaper and the blade will (probably) be more durable and it's good enough for most folks. A lot of Gundam folks have moved away from the extreme price nippers to good nippers and using a glass nail buffer to avoid stress marks on the models.

@@PeterFulford OK I good for the "Gundam people" I guess. Sorry, but I have no idea where they come from.

@@whya2ndaccount Just to be clear: these single edged style nippers did spring from Gundam modelers but plenty of non-Gundam modellers have tried them and find them surprisingly effective for "normal" modeling.

I agree with you- I’m surprised Andy has not addressed this issue- there are solutions here. For each of us that actually make a comment, you can divide by the views and see what percentage actually comment- very low: BUT Representing an equal number of viewers per comment would be a fair statistical bit of data; i.e., there are THOUSANDS who agree with this viewpoint spread out over the past few years since the excessive infomercials began. A little is fine- what about all of the great new Tamiya re-release armor and aircraft models w/low special pricing, and added vehicles etc. I’m finding this data on other channels and for many other 1:35 Armor and 1:48 aircraft - at 1/5 to 1/4 quarter the price- that we can actually FIT in our homes… I buy from Andy’s HHQ- and really like the man and his shop AND HIS TEACHING ABILITIES. I don’t see him responding to questions like yours- or mine and others. See what what happens… I’ll be ending my subscription soon if it’s more of the same. Too bad.
@oilguygamer1744 Жыл бұрын
Hi, Andy look like pretty good nippers, however, your pricing is too similar to other quality tools. For example, for about $30 you can also get the Dspeie STX cutters, which are a fantastic set so seems like no real advantage to buying your make. I only mention this because delivery, where I live, can be difficult when buying new products.
